Here is the idea. I spend my life spotting and helping people who sit at their kitchen tables how to develop the CEO mindset inside them. If they really want it, then it will happen. The only thing that limits their aspirations is their ability to think about it and then the application of hard work.
So what are you thinking about at the start of December?
Let’s try:
- We are going to have holidays – fun, rest, time with friends and family. We are going to have wonderful food, and even more wonderful leftovers.
- We are going to have games, walks and lovely visits.
- We are going to have decorations and a house full of laughter.
- This family unit/ place where I live is creative and happy.
Because
- We are going to make a plan like we do for every holiday
- We are going to make a series of shopping lists – just like we do every week
- We are going to delegate especially to unusual people.
- We are going to plan a great time NOT a perfect one
- If something does not get done it is just forgotten.
- We are going to enjoy the leadup.
- We are going to work – rest – sleep
As we go to bed late on Christmas night – as we always do because it is part of the tradition – what Christmas Day brings will be fun.
So for 25 days we are going to look forward and enjoy the prospect. We will hold on to this wonderful few days to come and all its fun.
Any doubts, black thoughts and unhelpful ideas are going to fly straight out of our heads into the recycling bin before they take root! And no contagious panic from other people – send them to the isolation ward!
In the New Year once this has worked, if you want to, let’s talk about CEO thinking in the work context and how you get that mindset. If you want it then your growing business is inevitable.
Please contact me. I love speaking with people, off the meter, to help them explore possibilities and whether/how to take them forward. I hope you will be one of them.
